Where cars cannot go
- Sultanahmet: the squares around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are closed to traffic, and Divanyolu, the street with the tram line, is not open to cars. Many small hotels are on the side streets around them.
- Galata and Karaköy: the lanes around Galata Tower are narrow, steep and partly pedestrian. Some are stairs.
- Taksim and Cihangir: İstiklal Avenue is pedestrian. Cihangir's streets are narrow and steep, and parking is hard.
How to make the pickup easy
- Ask your hotel where taxis usually stop. Reception knows the nearest point a car can reach and how long the walk is.
- Send us the exact place. In the booking form, choose the address from the suggestions, or send a map pin on WhatsApp. A pin on the street where the car can stop is better than the hotel name.
- Read the driver's message. Your driver's name, plate and phone come before pickup. If your door cannot be reached, the driver will call or message you with the meeting point.
- Allow 5–10 extra minutes to walk to the car with your bags, especially on cobbles or slopes.
If you have heavy luggage
If the walk to the nearest street is long or has stairs, ask the hotel whether staff can help carry your bags to the car. Tell us on WhatsApp if you have a lot of luggage, so the driver knows in advance.
