By card
- Every driver we send carries a card terminal.
- The card price includes a 11% card fee. We show it next to the cash price on the website and in your WhatsApp confirmation, so there is no surprise at the airport.
- A card payment leaves a record and needs no change.
In Turkish lira
Our prices are in Turkish lira (TL). Paying cash in lira is the simplest option if you have it.
In euros or US dollars
You can also pay cash in euros or dollars. The amount is calculated when you book, from that day's exchange rate, and written in your confirmation. That is the amount you pay, even if the rate moves before your trip. Please bring notes in good condition; drivers may not be able to give change in foreign currency, so having close to the exact amount helps.
What is included
- Bridge and highway tolls are included in the price.
- The price is for your whole group (up to 4 people in a standard taxi) and your luggage, not per person.
- The price does not change with traffic or the route.
Tipping
Tipping a taxi driver in Turkey is not expected. Rounding up or leaving a small amount for help with heavy bags is a kind gesture, but it is always your choice.
Paying cash safely
- Prepare the amount before you arrive, so you are not counting notes at the kerb.
- Hand over notes one at a time and say the amount as you do.
- Check the number on each note before you hand it over: some Turkish notes look alike in a hurry.
